"I am responsible for helping my patients understand their health and things that put their well-being in jeopardy," she said. "In order to be an effective provider I must be an excellent educator."
Alea earned her nursing degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is board certified in cardiology. Alea was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She and her husband moved to Portland in 2014 after visiting during a vacation and falling in love with Oregon. In her free time, Alea enjoys hiking, skiing and exploring the outdoors.
