I have a lot of respect for Dr Kunkel. The communication at his office is excellent. The staff makes you feel comfortable.

Dr. Kunkel always makes patient not feel rushed to get you in and out. Patiently answers all questions.

I adjust, started taking my insulin with pens and I was having a bit of difficulty. Dr. Kunkel took his time and explain how to use them so I get the full benefit and able to get a good nights sleep because he carefully explained what both of my insulin do with my blood sugar, and I am not to continue taking sugar drinks as often as I usually do. That was a big help, and I made a big change towards the bed because of the time he spent with me.

Dr. Kunkle took time and explained a bout the difference between b12 and folate for my MTHFR

Dr Kunkel provided me with more information regarding my illnesses than any other provider. I appreciate everything that Dr Kunkel has done and look forward to working with him to help me live the best life I can.

Dr. Kunkle has always been on top of my conditions and every adjustment has worked well. He also has seen my youngest son who is now 21 years old, after seeing several different doctors since he was 15 years old. He had gotten to the point that he wouldn't leave the house except for school. After graduation from high school my son got to the point he wouldn't leave his room and struggled with suicidal thoughts. I suggested he see Dr. Kunkle because he listens carefully and understands the body and development better than any endocrinologist I've ever seen. Dr. Kunkle, on the first visit ordered a blood test that diagnosed my son with adrenal hyperplasia. Since putting my son on medication he is a totally different young man. His condition usually is caught at birth but for some reason wasn't, also every other doctor he'd seen over the previous eight years missed this diagnosis. Not only with me, but also more importantly my son, Dr. Kunkle has made the difference in our quality of life. In my sons life he most likely saved him from suicide as he was at the end of his preverbal rope.

During this visit, there was a very nice intern. She was very knowledgeable and talked to our level of understanding. Then Dr Kunkle came in and mostly listened, then gave his advice. I always look forward to these appointments with Kunkle. He's so easy to talk to.

I was impressed with the detailed explanations I received as well as the doctor asking my thoughts on how he was talking about proceeding with treatment.

From the time I walk into reception area to the time I walk out everybody at this office is fantastic to deal with, and that goes twice for Dr. Kunkel.

Dr Kunkel is prompt to answer questions I have asked on the email feature of MyChart. I have never had to wait long In an exam room for him to arrive after the nurse has taken my vitals. Visits are pleasant and efficient but never hurried or impersonal.

Dr. Kunkel was a referral from my regular Doctor, I also had a referral to Dr. Kunkel back in 2015 and he remembered me from back then or reviewed my charts before our office visit, that is very impressive to me to have a doctor you haven't seen in years to know a patients history and reason for current visit. I really liked Dr. Kunkel -- how he remained calm and pleasant as he explained things to me and listened to me/asked my questions. I am also impressed that he emailed me so quickly with my results the afternoon they were posted. Only negative thing I have to say is it took me 4 months to get into see an endocrinologist.

Appreciate Dr Kunkel's willingness to answer questions as well as his broad knowledge of diabetes and its treatment, including studies being conducted. He was able to answer all .y questions.

He is a wonderful doctor, he is very concerned about my health and he show it by making sure I get my medicine on time, he even had to call the pharmacy several times to get them to give me the right medicine.

They are prompt Dr Kunkle is great. We go over readings of test and adjust meds if needed. And I'm walking out with an appt before leaving. Dr Kunkle and the people are always nice and good at jobs.

Most primary physicians have general knowledge of thyroid conditions and order lab tests. But when there are other medical conditions to be considered It may require the expertise of a specialist in that field. From the first visit with Dr. Kunkel I have felt comfortable and trust his interest and knowledge.

Great doctor

I have seen Dr Kunkel a few times now. He is a nice guy. He is responsive to messages very quickly. However, his ability to investigate issues is lacking. He will listen when I am telling him my symptoms, but does not ask any follow up questions. He just jumps to a response. When I messaged him about my labwork, he informed me I was having an inflammatory response. Then when I got to the clinic to follow up, he told me I was just getting old.

Takes the time to listen to my concerns & thoroughly explains things in a way that is easy for me to understand.
