About Chris Fountain

Chris Fountain manages melanoma and brain cancer clinical trials for Providence Cancer Center throughout the Portland metro area. Chris is a certified oncology nurse with experience in chemotherapy and immunotherapy, including administration of high-dose interleukin 2 and autologous stem cell transplants. Chris is involved in clinical administration of a variety of early phase studies, including in-house investigator-initiated trials, pharmaceutical-sponsored studies and academic-initiated studies with cooperative groups, including SWOG, ECOG, NCCTG and RTOG. Chris currently supports melanoma and primary brain tumor clinical trial protocols, along with an active tissue and blood collection program in support of developing studies at Providence Cancer Center. Additionally, Chris provides support for ongoing melanoma clinical trial availability for patients at Providence Cancer Center, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Western Washington Oncology and Providence Everett Oncology.
