About Amy S. Cheung
Amy Cheung, N.P., is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She grew up in San Francisco and has always been interested in the sciences. After obtaining her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, she worked as a clinical trials coordinator. With this experience, she found her passion for patient care and was inspired to pursue a career in medicine. As a nurse practitioner, Amy strives to serve communities with compassion and excellence.
Her credentials include certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and NIH Stroke Exam. With expertise in cardiac care, she brings years of nursing experience in providing emergency and supportive care of cardiac patients with life-threatening conditions in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines.
She enjoys interacting with patients and partnering with physicians to tailor medicine to individual needs.
