Ari M. Heffron, MD

Dr. Heffron grew up in Northern California. He attended Boston College for his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and received his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his OB/GYN residency at Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center. During medical school and his specialty training, Dr. Heffron was recognized for community service, research and clinical excellence. Following residency, Dr. Heffron served on staff at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as an OB/GYN physician and assistant professor. Dr. Heffron enjoys forming relationships with patients and their families and is grateful to share in the range of emotions that occur during life’s most important milestones. He enjoys all aspects of pregnancy care, and is also interested in preconception counseling, contraception and minimally invasive surgery. He recently moved to the Portland area with his wife, young son and Labrador Retriever. He enjoys cooking, gardening and woodworking.
