Paul Gilmore, MD, an interventional cardiologist, has a passion for the heart and heart health. He finds joy in making connections, whether it's between people and their health conditions or among those in his cardiology practice and the patients he serves. "I enjoy solving problems and balancing expectations between patients and their heart disease," he says.
In his practice, Dr. Gilmore believes that his most important role as a provider is to communicate fully with patients and their families about all aspects of heart health. "Working in partnership, we can do wonders in getting people on a path to better health," he says. "Our practice works closely together to ensure that we provide our patients with the very best care."
After studying for his bachelor of arts degree at Carroll College in Helena, Montana, Dr. Gilmore earned a doctor of medicine degree from the School of Medicine at Creighton University in Nebraska. He then moved to Florida to complete his residency in internal medicine at Pensacola Education Program and two fellowships at University of Florida, Jacksonville, in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Dr. Gilmore enjoys all the outdoor activities Southern Oregon has to offer, including biking and hiking. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
