I began my career in medicine working as an Emergency Department EMT, as well as teaching wilderness medicine and working in tissue and organ recovery. Upon graduation from PA school, I focused on Family Practice/Primary Care/Urgent Care, as well as working for the St Patrick Hospital Trauma Department. In 2017, I was very fortunate to join Montana Neurosurgical Specialists, where I get to see a broad variety of outpatient clinic, inpatient admissions, trauma, preoperative consultations, postoperative follow ups, and assisting in the OR. I believe that surgery has its place for many pathologies, though primary care, conservative therapies, and an approach to the whole patient cannot be overlooked.
