Nilesh H. Hingarh, M.S., M.D., is board certified in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine. He is in private practice in northern Los Angeles County in both the Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys. He attended medical school at Chicago Medical School; Internal Medicine Residency at the UCLA- San Fernando Valley Program; and Infectious Disease fellowship at the UCLA- Affiliated Program in Infectious Disease. He serves a wide variety of patient populations, including under-served areas of Los Angeles County, in both the inpatient, ambulatory and Telemedicine settings. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Antibiotic Stewardship and Infection Control at Antelope Valley Hospital. He also serves as a consultant for the Advanced Clinical Systems and Clinical Informatics at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital since 2010 and has been involved in EHR system design, support and implementation. In addition, he serves as a Physician Consultant to MEDITECH, a prominent EHR vendor based in the greater Boston area. He is currently interested in the application of information technology to serve under-served populations more effectively and efficiently.
