Shana Hamilton is a licensed professional counselor supervisor in Anchorage Alaska. She hails from Belize, Central America and has been a therapist for over 20 years working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She works with clients ages 10 to adult but has a fervent passion for adolescents and their families. Shana’s passion for being in the health field comes from a genuine fascination of people and the study of human interaction. Shana has treated people with a variety of mental health diagnoses such as Depression, Anxiety, Psychosis, Dissociation, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Bipolar, and Substance Abuse Disorders. Along with the associated behavioral issues such as suicidal & homicidal ideations, cutting, eating issues, anger, family & peer conflict, social isolation, high-risk behavior, sexual abuse, and grief and loss issues. She believes in the resilience of humans and honors each person's journey enthusiastically.
