Jillian Schroeder has lived in Alaska since 2001. She holds a Master’s of Social Work from University of Alaska Anchorage and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Jillian began her practice working in early childhood mental health and has since expanded her practice from early childhood through young adulthood. She has worked in a variety of settings including intensive outpatient services, residential substance abuse treatment, and worked exclusively with military dependents while living in Germany. Jillian believes in tailoring her clinical approach to meet the individual needs of each person or family she sees. She utilizes various clinical modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based CBT, and is trained in EMDR therapy. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family and enjoys biking, skiing, reading, fishing, and cooking.
