About Talmage J. Broadbent

Dr. Broadbent grew up in Provo Utah where he attended Brigham Young University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Neuroscience. He then completed a combined MD/PhD, medical scientist training program at the University of Utah. Following medical school, he and his family moved to Newport News Virginia for his year of medical internship and then on to Vanderbilt in Nashville Tennessee for ophthalmology residency. He was accepted into an American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship programs in Minnesota. He spent one year training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota and an additional year at the University of Minnesota. Following fellowship Dr. Broadbent joined Northwest Eyelid and Orbital Specialists in 2017. Dr. Broadbent has authored multiple peer reviewed scientific publications and invited ophthalmology reviews. He has given educational lectures and presented at scientific meetings across the country. He strives to provide personalized and compassionate care to all his patients whether they have medical or cosmetic concerns.

He and his wife have four energetic children and they enjoy camping, hiking, and spending time at home together.
