I treat adult patients with a wide variety of medical conditions. I strive to provide compassionate, high-quality care. I am particularly interested in educating my patients on how to live a healthy lifestyle, and I like to discuss issues related to diet and exercise and their impact on preventing chronic diseases such as coronary artery disease, diabetes, hypertension, etc. I am very careful to try to strike the perfect balance between dugs and lifestyle therapies. I promote healthy foods, not supplements. I encourage patients to get out and walk, think right and cultivate a positive approach to their health issues, and life in general. I also have an interest in helping some of my patients lose weight. I help them change their diet and exercise habits in ways that are sustainable for the long-term. I do not provide fast weight loss diets or cures. I do treat some types of pain and aches, but I am not a pain specialist. Patients suffering from chronic pain syndromes, or who need to take narcotic pain medications on a daily and long-term basis, should look for a pain specialist. I like to get to know my patients and develop a long-term, positive relationship with them.
