Great Surgeon

Usually a good visit but sometimes there's a wait a little longer than expected.

From the front desk to the provider all positive experience

Dr. Gilsdorf was incredible! When he noticed my braille reader he asked about it, and immediately asked questions about how he could make me most comfortable and be helpful with the problems with my eyesight. I've NEVER had a doctor care so much about that - including at my eye appointments! He was very friendly, patient, really considered my situation and other stressors in my life. I couldn't say enough about how great he is, and I would score him higher than 10 if I could!

I feel Dr. Gilsdorf is an excellent surgeon. He is very easy to talk to and responds well to questions. While he must be extremely busy, I never have felt rushed or that I couldn't ask all of my questions.

Dr. Gilsdorf was very thorough and answered all my questions. He was up to date with my medical history and understood what would be needed regarding my treatment, and future surgical procedure. I am very comfortable with Dr. Gilsdorf handling my future surgery.

Dr. Gilsdorf was very nice & a bubbly personality. Explained everything I needed to know. If I need to see him in a later date I definitely will go to him.

I was referred to the doctor because I need surgery. He was honest about what this would entail.I found him to be open and helpful in answering my concerns.

Dr. Gilsdorf was great however trying to schedule further test and surgery has been a challenge. Still no date set. I'm concerned

Great doctor Very informative about my problem

At the visit, I felt like my symptoms were not important and I felt like there was no rush to help my problem, but received a call the next day to do the procedure, which helped me feel like he did understand that my problem needed to be taken care of.

All my experiences with my primary physician, other physicians, their medical assistants and office staff have been very good. They've been knowledgeable, good listeners and give clear, helpful information.

I meant to ask more thorough questions about how the hernia will be removed/surgically fastened down... I forgot to ask. It's just important for me to know. I would like to know if there is ever problems with a hernia reoccurring despite adequate surgery done. Just wish I had thought to ask.I really do think Dr Gilsdorf is a good doctor and feel that he will do a great job of surgery on the hernia.

Explains things in an easy to understand manner. Makes sure you understand what he is saying. Really listens to what you have to say.

His ability to manipulate the images multiple ways and explain what we saw and what meant was clear and precise. He calmly and patiently answered questions and repeated his explanations as needed. He is the BEST doctor I have ever seen; I am usually very critical!
