Rachel Jackson, M.D., entered the medical field out of a passion for reducing health disparities and caring for the underserved. "I am dedicated to the culturally and medically excellent care of all patients," she says. "I strongly believe in meeting patients where they are, and forming partnerships to foster better health.”
Dr. Jackson provides full-spectrum family medicine care for a wide variety of medical and mental health conditions, including obstetrical care. She also has particular interests that include primary care of LGBTQ adults & adolescents, suicide prevention, transgender care, sexual health, and wilderness medicine.
After earning her medical degree from the University of Washington, Dr. Jackson is completing her residency with the Providence Oregon Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Jackson grew up in the Portland area. In her free time she enjoys cycling, backpacking, and writing.
