Medicine has been a way for Daniel Ananyev, DO, to give back to his community, heal, teach and feel satisfied through his work. He appreciates the complexity of patients’ choices when navigating medications, procedures and specialist options. “I explain, simplify and guide my patients in choosing the most reasonable and beneficial path to well-being,” he says.
Dr. Ananyev emphasizes quality of life through exercise and nutrition, as well as evidence-based screening and immunization for children and adults. He enjoys daily interactions with his patients, and knowing that over time, he can “gain the understanding and trust needed in times of illness and health.” With his special training in integrative medicine, Dr. Ananyev would like his patients to know that he rarely prescribes controlled substances.
Dr. Ananyev earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. He completed his internship and residency at Glendale Adventist Medical Center.
Born in Russia, Dr. Ananyev lived in Armenia before moving to the United States. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, mushroom hunting, van camping, backpacking and hiking with his wife and daughters.
