Kenneth Nguyen, D.O., was introduced to medicine from an early age. His uncle, an anesthesiologist, was an avid learner and had a passion for understanding health and well-being. "This piqued my interest in the biological sciences," he said. "I chose to specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation because it allows me to treat people with complicated medical conditions long-term." "As a pain management specialist, I understand that no two patients' pain experience is the same," says Dr. Nguyen. "I tailor each patient's treatment plan to meet their individual goals. I enjoy educating patients about different therapies to manage pain and helping people understand more about what they're experiencing."
After earning his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, Dr. Nguyen completed an internship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital and a residency at The Ohio State University. He also received fellowship training at Wayne State University. Dr. Nguyen is board certified in pain management.
Dr. Nguyen has spent most of his life in the midwest, but is looking forward to his time in the Pacific Northwest. In his free time, he enjoys golf, tennis, running, scuba diving and stand-up paddle boarding.
