Gayatri Ram, SLP

Gayatri Ram is an Assistant Clinical Professor and the Associate Director of Clinical Education for the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Pacific University, Forest Grove. She received her B.SC in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in India and her Masters and PhD in Speech- Language Pathology at Ohio University. She has worked clinically for several years both in India and the United States. Most recently she worked as a public school SLP in Oregon before joining Pacific University as a clinical faculty. Her areas of research and clinical interest include child language disorders, diagnostics, lexical & literacy skills in children, derivational morphology, and school-based issues for SLPs. She enjoys teaching and mentoring the next generation of professionals. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking vegetarian food, hiking and travelling internationally.
