About Paul D. Ruesch

Dr. Paul Ruesch is a board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who has dedicated his career to expert, compassionate, and quality care of the injured patient. He attended medical school, completed his orthopedic residency, and completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Ruesch has been in practice since 1996, when he began his career at Orthopedics Indianapolis in Kokomo, Indiana. In Indianapolis, he served as Chief of Surgery at St. Joseph Hospital, before relocating to Oregon.

Dr. Ruesch specializes in a wide range of orthopedic care. He is experienced in the arthroscopic treatment of knee and shoulder injuries with a focus on meniscus repair, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, and shoulder instability procedures. His practice also focuses on the treatment of hip and knee arthritis using both non­ operative, joint preserving interventions and surgical reconstruction. He also is experienced in the management of fractures and other general musculoskeletal injuries.

On a personal level, Dr. Ruesch is a devoted husband and dedicated father of three children. He is an avid sports fan, enjoys traveling, and his hobbies include wake surfing, water skiing, cross fit, and gourmet pizza making. , bike riding, and water sports.
