Deborah Boles, NP, became a family nurse practitioner so she could help patients take an active role in achieving their health goals. “I enjoy the professional relationship between patient and provider,” she says. “I feel enormous satisfaction in helping patients create successful plans of care.”
Deborah believes that her most important role is to partner with her patients. “I want to encourage them to follow their care plan and to help them get back on track if they veer off course,” she says, finding tremendous power in that partnership. “Patients are more likely to succeed if patient and provider work together to develop a plan of care that is developed specifically for each patient's lifestyle and limitations.”
Deborah earned her undergraduate degree from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon, and her master’s degree in nursing from Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, Oregon.
While not at work, Deborah enjoys camping, hiking, gardening, and reading, as well as spending time with her family.
