About Robert M. Bernstein

Robert Bernstein, M.D., spent time at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he served as medical director of their Orthopaedic Center and vice-chair of clinical affairs for the Department of Orthopaedics. Dr. Bernstein was introduced to the Shriners Hospitals for Children health care system after practicing at the Los Angeles Shriners Hospital from 1994-2001.

Dr. Bernstein earned his medical degree at University of Southern California and completed his orthopedic residency at Massachusetts General Hospital under the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program. He also completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, and a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at Boston Children's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He specializes in all facets of pediatric orthopedics, with a focus on pediatric spine disorders and dwarfism.
