To be able to help children grow into happy, healthy adults is a blessing. As a mom of three children – a 13-year-old and 11-year-old twins – I know that parenting isn't easy. A pediatrician who is committed to giving parents the help, reassurance, and information they need can be very important.
For me, being a pediatrician is about not simply caring for the child, but for the whole family. I want parents to feel comfortable asking any question – and asking it more than once. If I've done my job of building a strong and trusting relationship, parents will see me as their partner, walking this journey of parenting together.
There is nothing more important to me than the health and safety of your children. As a strong advocate of vaccinations, I believe that ensuring the children who visit our office are fully vaccinated is the single most important thing I can do to keep your children and your community safe. If you choose not to fully vaccinate your child, another physician may be a better fit for your family. If you have questions or would like more information on vaccinations, call our office at (714) 528-4211.
She speaks clearly to her, my daughter was very comfortable with her. She's really very nice.Providence Patient
We love Dr. Choi. She listens attentively and provides quality care. She's a knowledgeable doctor yet doesn't push her own agenda as we've experienced with other doctors within St. Joseph.Providence Patient
Dr. Choi provided no care for my daughter's cough, stating it was only allergies. I took her 2 days later to get 2nd opinion where the new Dr. gave her s antibiotic she did have a infection. She rushed us, and didn't even think the pain my daughter was going through. Her sleepless nights etc. Very d issapointing.Providence Patient

Experience overall with Dr. Choi is great (as usual).Providence Patient
The provider was very demanding about the changes that needed to be done with my child. My daughter had an issue with having a flat head but has gone back to normal almost completely. When my daughter's provider checked her head, she stated that it's still flat but not too ugly. This is an outrageous statement to hear from my daughter's provider. I will most likely be changing my daughter's provider because of my experience of our last appointment. She mad me feel, as a parent, that I was not doing a good job. The only thing she complimented was my daughter's overall health about her weight, height and head growth. Other than that, I was not satisfied with her care that she provided.Providence Patient
Dr. Lauren Choi is the best.My children love to see her.Providence Patient
Doctor seemed to get annoyed when I explained what I do for a living in regards to the rehabilitation of my sons knee. she became very short, shoved a form at me and said "take him to X-ray" not explaining where to go and not providing any help on where to get the brace she told us to get that she instructed him to wear. I tried to ask for clarification about the brace and she just said "anything" before turning and leaving quickly not saying bye to my son or me. She acted annoyed we were there. Even my son asked why she was being rude.Providence Patient
