Dr. Crockett is board certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He received his medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Crockett completed his residency at the University of Southern California Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. He then completed a Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Crockett returned to California and became an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine (USC University Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles), and was one of the “Doctors of USC”, from 1987 to 2008, when he joined the practice at Head and Neck Associates. Dr. Crockett has been voted one of Castle-Connolly’s “America’s Top Doctors” and “America’s Top Doctors for Cancer”. He is recognized as a "Physician of Excellence" by the Orange County Medical Association in the specialty of Head and Neck Oncology and has been one of California’s “Super Doctors” since 2000. His professional interests include pediatric otolaryngology/pediatric head and neck tumors, adult head and neck cancer and thyroid/parathyroid surgery, pediatric/adult airway reconstruction, pediatric/adult sinus surgery as well as general otolaryngology. Dr. Crockett is active in Boy Scouting (Silver Beaver and Orange County Council Man of Character), and his hobbies include backpacking and mountaineering, rock climbing (getting a little too old for this one), high power rocketry and competitive ballroom dancing.
