Kathleen received her Bachelors of Science Nursing at S.U.N.Y Plattsburgh and Masters of Science in Nursing as Adult Nurse Practitioner from Simmons College, Boston MA. She has worked across the spectrum of nursing in cardiothoracic surgery; heart failure; adult primary care in Boston. MA. In 2001, she relocated to Orange County, CA to Hoag Hospital as a heart failure program nurse practitioner and in 2016 transferred to the Acute Stroke Team as a nurse practitioner. Kathleen received an Acute Neurovascular Advanced Practitioner post-graduate fellowship certification in 2011 from Arizona State University. In 2012, she joined Mission Heritage Medical Group (MHMG) as a nurse practitioner in dual position EP cardiology and neurology. Present practice focus in Neurology specialty Cognitive-Memory Clinic; Headaches; Stroke; Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological disease processes. Kathleen in an active member in the MHMG Community Outreach and Advocacy Committee; St. Joseph Heritage Employee Partner Program; Alzheimer’s Orange County 2016 Professional Caregiver recipient award; International Profession Volunteer for Outreach to the World (Kenya) and Global Health organization Board member.
