About Ronald B. Jones

Dr. Ronald B. Jones has practiced general orthopedic surgery at Redwood Memorial Hospital in Fortuna since 1983. His primary goal is to return people back to their prior active lifestyles before their injury or disease, whether through non-operative management, repair or reconstruction, or, in some cases, replacement of the injured joint. Dr. Jones evaluates all orthopedic injuries (except spine), and has a particular interest in anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement, and endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery.

Dr. Jones and his wife, Patt, have lived in Fortuna since completing his surgical training in 1983. They have four children and 10 (soon to be 11) grandchildren. His interests outside of medicine include music, amateur radio, and visiting his grandkids.
