About Abtin H. Khosravi

Dr. Khosravi is a general surgeon at St. Joseph Hospital and is always excited to participate in the surgical care of patients. He is dedicated to providing the highest quality patient care using some of the most advanced minimally-invasive techniques today.

He is a native of Los Angeles and after completing his undergraduate training in at UCLA, he attended medical school at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed general surgery residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. Subsequently, he attained advanced fellowship training in robotic surgery at Hackensack University in New Jersey. As one of the only training programs of its kind, he is trained in MIS robotic surgery on a variety of general surgery conditions, having completed over 250 robotic ventral and inguinal hernia, foregut, colorectal and biliary operations. His areas of particular expertise are robotic inguinal and ventral hernia and single site surgery also known as the Single Port robotic surgery.

His team is committed to building relationships with patients to provide a high level of skill and care, as well as prompt scheduling of office consultations.
