Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons with over 15 years of experience, Dr. Geoffrey Stuart Tompkins provides patients with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment services at Redwood Orthopaedic Surgery Associates. In 2010, Dr. Tompkins was recognized as a "Top Doc" at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where he previously served as the Director of Orthopaedic Trauma and has performed many surgeries.
Dr. Tompkins graduated with his medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and recipient of the William P. Longmire Medical in Surgery as the top surgery student. He completed residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of North Carolina Hospitals, serving as Chief Resident during his final year and earning the Wake Medical Center Orthpaedic Surgery Resident of the Year award.
Dedicated to furthering his knowledge, Dr. Tompkins also completed a fellowship in Joint Replacement at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center. He has contributed to numerous publications and presentations throughout his medical experience, focusing on developing techniques of joint replacement as well as other developments in the field of orthopedic surgery.
