About William C. Wallace

Dr. William Campbell Wallace, MD, FACS is a board-certified General and Vascular surgeon who has performed over 7,000 operations over the last 12 years. Dr. Wallace’s specialty areas are general, colorectal and vascular surgery. Dr. Wallace is a native Californian, raised in Tustin from the age of one. After graduating from Servite High School in Anaheim he attended the University of California, Riverside where he was a two-time student senator, graduating with Dean’s List honors. He received his degree in Medicine with clinical Honors from the University Of Vermont College Of Medicine with an emphasis in surgical sciences, followed by six years of surgical training in general and vascular surgery at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. In addition, he completed a critical care research fellowship and was twice the recipient of the surgical resident Golden Scalpel Award. He has authored five scientific papers, numerous abstracts, and presented at several national surgical meetings.Upon graduation Dr. Wallace joined the surgical staff at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center in 2002, and currently holds privileges at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center, Laguna Hill campus (where he has been a member of the Medical Executive Committee for the past 8 years and is the former Chief of Surgery), Saddleback San Clemente Hospital (where he is the Director of Surgery), and Mission Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Wallace is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association and the Southern California Vascular Surgical Society. He was an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine from 2002 to 2009.

In his free time, Dr. Wallace helps coach his three children’s teams in softball, baseball, soccer, and flag football. He enjoys the guitar, physical fitness, and golf.
