Robert C. Scott III, MD, PhD, FACC, is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. He earned a medical degree and a doctorate in biomedical sciences from the University of Texas Medical School, Houston, Texas. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at University of California San Diego.

Dr Scott is an amazing doctor. He is constantly paying attention to my immediate concerns and respectfully brings issues to my attention that I can do to help improve my medical issues. I never feel rushed, with either Dr. Scott or when I meet with part of his team between visits with him. I feel so fortunate that the ambulance took me to Sacred Heart where Dr Scott happened to be on call. He was the third cardiologist I was sent to during COVID when there were very few beds open. I knew it was Divine Providence that sent Dr. Scott and his team to me.
