About Eric C. Chang

Dr. Eric Chang, M.D., is an attending neurosurgeon at the Providence Regional Medical Center, Everett WA and clinical faculty member of Washington State University Medical School. Dr. Chang earned his undergraduate degree at MIT, obtained his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his neurosurgical residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital. After his residency, Dr. Chang spent an additional year doing a complex spine fellowship with Dr. Eric Woodard at the New England Baptist Hospital with focused training on reconstructive techniques for the full spectrum of spinal disorders including degenerative, tumor, trauma and infectious disorders. Dr. Chang joined the faculty at the University of Washington in 2013 but returned to the New England in 2015 where he has been practicing. He now returns with his wife and child to the Pacific Northwest to be closer to family. Dr. Chang provides personal and individualized care to patients with all complex spine conditions. He performs surgery (laminectomy, spinal fusion, spinal trauma, spinal instrumentation, spinal reconstruction, deformity correction, tumor resection) for disorders affecting the spine.
