About Mark P. Miller

Dr. Miller was 15 years old when he went on an audition for the Ed Sullivan Show in New York City. After a heart felt rendition of an Al Jolson medley, the booking agent placed his hand on his shoulder and said “You are a nice young man. Why don’t you go to medical school?” Thus ended his show business aspirations and began his medical career. His undergraduate degree in psychology was completed at Colgate University. Medical school and internship were completed in his home town of Baltimore, Maryland at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine. He moved west and completed Internal Medicine and Cardiology fellowship at University of California, Davis and subsequent to his training moved to Southern California and has been practicing in the local area for more than a generation. He has been Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology and his new interest include aggressive preventive care and cardio-metabolic treatment.

Dr. Miller remains an active learner, teacher and lecturer. Patients have remarked “I always feel better when I leave Dr. Miller’s office than when I came in. His practice involves a partnership with his patients and his treatment is designed with information, inspiration and optimism based on scientific evidence and the most up to date best practices.
