Dr. Hanjoo Kim is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Keck School of Medicine at USC. He joined USC in March 2018.
Dr. Kim received his MD from Kyungpook University Medical School and completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis, MO. He has held faculty positions at Loyola University and St. Louis University Health Sciences Center and more recently Dr. Kim has worked in the private sector as a radiation oncologist in Los Angeles.
Dr. Kim’s clinical interests include stereotactic radiosurgery, microwave hyperthermia, template guided interstitial implants of the vagina, cervix, breast, brain, prostate, head and neck. He also has experience with high dose rate interstitial and intraluminal treatment for esophagus and lungs. He has authored many publications in multiple areas of radiation oncology.
