The Providence HealthEngage Difference

Providence HealthEngage is a new benefits solution that delivers shared incentives and high-quality care, ultimately lowering the cost of health care for self-funded employers. Providence HealthEngage has four key components:

  • Integrated network
The Providence-Swedish Health Alliance Network is a comprehensive network of top providers serving the Puget Sound community. Network providers are aligned with appropriate incentives to deliver high-quality care. We share in health care cost savings or deficits for the populations we serve.
  • Best-in-class administrative services
Providence Health Plan’s administrative services only (ASO) unit has been serving Pacific Northwest employers for more than 15 years. PHP-ASO supports more than 275,000 self-funded members with a full suite of services and resources.
  • Comprehensive stop-loss protection
Everest Re Group is an A+ rated financial institution experienced in handling stop-loss protection for more than 800 employers, amounting to more than $200 million in stop-loss premiums.
  • Innovative financial arrangement
The most unique attribute of the Providence HealthEngage solution is the incentive aligned between employers and provider network to efficiently and effectively manage health care dollars.

Providence HealthEngage’s enhanced value originates behind the scenes through additional provider coordination and improved access to data that drives care coordination efforts as well as proactive member engagement from our care teams.

Compared with a PPO plan, Providence HealthEngage members will receive more personal support, better coordinated care, and an enhanced level of service – at a lower cost to the employer.
