St. Jude Medical Center
The mission of the St. Jude Memorial Foundation is to provide financial support through philanthropy for St. Jude Medical Center to ensure the continued delivery of quality health care to the community it serves.
For over 60 years, gifts both large and small have helped to create nationally recognized services, build facilities where quality and innovation can flourish, and provide extraordinary, lifesaving care. Today, St. Jude Medical Center’s commitment to excellence is more important than ever – and it is a generous community that makes that commitment possible.
But as the medical needs of this community continue to grow, so does the importance of those willing to give to ensure state-of-the-art care for family, friends and neighbors.

Philanthropic support groups
- Grace Heger, President, St. Jude Medical Center Guild
The generosity of grateful patients, families, friends, physicians, employees, foundations and corporations allows St. Jude to offer a level of care typically found at only the nations largest academic and research hospitals. Your gift can support leading-edge technology, access to transformative advances in medicine, and services of the highest quality that are close to home and seamlessly cover the full continuum of care from diagnosis to treatment to rehabilitation.
Philanthropy also allows St. Jude to serve the most vulnerable in our community. Gifts toward our care for the poor/community benefits program support neighborhood health clinics, as well as wellness and prevention programs that provide resources that residents need to make their neighborhoods healthier and safer.
The St. Jude Memorial Foundation can assist you with achieving your philanthropic goals, matching your passion and vision with the hospital priorities. Contact us to make a gift that is right for you.
St. Jude Medical Center volunteers are a critical part of our success as a nationally-recognized medical center. They help to create a healing and welcoming environment, provide non-clinical assistance to patients, families and staff, and support an overall seamless and coordinated experience for all who walk through our doors.
From our hospital’s beginnings, volunteers have also played a key role in supporting the philanthropic efforts of the hospital – helping to raise awareness and funds for the programs, technology and initiatives that have elevated St. Jude to become one of Southern California’s most respected medical centers.

The life-saving care at St. Jude is made possible because of the generosity of donors and supporters. We are incredibly grateful for those who bless us with gifts big and small to support patient care, advance our programs and technology, and create healing environments for all who walk through our doors. St. Jude recognizes its family of supporters in a number of ways to express our sincere gratitude for their philanthropic investment.
