U.S. News & World Report Names St. Joseph Hospital, Orange a High Performing Hospital and Distinguished Rankings in 14 Specialties
Hospital ranked as high performing in Orthopedics, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Pulmonology & Lung Surgery and Geriatrics as well as 10 procedures.
Providence St. Joseph Hospital, Orange has been recognized as a High Performing Hospital for 2021-22 by U.S. News & World Report. Providence St. Joseph Hospital ranked in the top 10% of hospitals in California. In addition, St. Joseph Hospital ranked 21st in the state and 12th in the Los Angeles/Orange County region.
The U.S. News rankings are based on a variety of measures, including patient outcomes, patient experience, technology and reputation (according to surveyed physicians). Four St. Joseph Hospital specialties earned “High Performing” ratings: Orthopedic, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Pulmonology & Lung Surgery and Geriatrics. “High Performing” is the highest rating U.S. News awards for that type of care.
In addition, ten Providence St. Joseph procedures are rated as “High Performing” including Spinal Fusion, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Colon Cancer Surgery, Heart Attack, Heart Failure, Kidney Failure, Knee Replacement, Lung Cancer Surgery, Pneumonia and Stroke.
