Welcome to Washington's 2022 Annual Report
The Providence family of organizations in Washington continues our work to help ensure that people in our state have access to basic necessities and health resources.
In 2022, Providence ministries and affiliates invested $839 million in community benefit across Washington. These investments supported dozens of programs designed to address our communities’ most critical needs. Among them:
- Providence Inland Northwest Washington supported Partners with Families and Children by funding their Children’s Advocacy Center in Spokane, providing a safe and comfortable place for child and teen survivors of child abuse, neglect and other crimes. In 2022, the center served 636 kids.
- A Providence Swedish grant directly supported 200 households in King and Snohomish counties through a partnership with YWCA Passage Point, which provides transitional housing and comprehensive services for parents released from incarceration.
- In North and South Puget Sound, two different, innovative street medicine programs brought medical care – and nurtured trusting relationships with medical providers – to people experiencing homelessness in both communities.
Thank you for taking the time to read through the 2022 annual report to learn more about our commitment to the health of our communities.
