About Alden W. Holmes
Dr. Alden Holmes is a newly practicing dermatologist with St. Jude Heritage Medical Group. He grew up in Yorba Linda and went to Esperanza High School. He completed medical school at UC Riverside School of Medicine before finishing his internship at Riverside Community Hospital and residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Dr. Holmes is passionate about improving his patient's quality of life by taking a serious approach to their skin concerns. He is also passionate about treating skin cancer and optimizing practices to minimize skin cancer occurrence. Dr. Holmes' philosophy of care is treating to treat his patients as if he is treating a friend or family member. In his free time, Dr. Holmes enjoys camping and visiting national parks.

Dr A had me remove my shirt and proceeded to inspect not only my head and facial area, but my torso front and back addressing any surface skin spots with medication, and making note of those spots that could be cancerous. After my through examination he recommended we take 4 skin samples to be sent to the lab. Dr A was patient with an older person like myself and removed the samples as painlessly as possible. He explained the importance of sun screen and head protection noting my days of leisurely laying in the sun by my pool have ended. I k now he was joking and being serious at the same time for me the Sun is very dangerous. Dr A is the best and I recommend him to all my friends with similar skin problems!!
