About Heather N. Davidson
Heather translated her passion for animals into a love for family medicine after working several years as a veterinary technician. "I went back to college thinking I'd go into veterinary medicine," Heather says. "Then I got a job in a hospital lab and decided I wanted to work with people. Only in family medicine do you get to care for the newborn to the elderly. You have a special relationship with people when you are caring for the whole family." With an emphasis on wellness, prevention and women's health, she believes in listening to her patients with compassion and in educating them about medical conditions they are concerned about. "I love to figure out the problem, and then make it better," she says. "It's not always possible, but it makes my day when I can fix something that is broken."
