About Swati S. Kakodkar
Dr. Swati Kakodkar believes in the old saying, "Prevention is better than cure." In her practice, she encourages her patients to be actively involved in their health care and advocates certain lifestyle changes, as she feels many diseases can be prevented.
Dr. Kakodkar enjoys the opportunity to treat entire families and to help them reach their best well-being. "I feel that being a doctor gives you ultimate job satisfaction when you help people and treat all their medical conditions," she says.
After earning her medical degree from Goa Medical College in India, Dr. Kakodkar completed her internship and residency in family medicine at AHEC Fort Smith Family Medical Center in Arkansas. She has additional experience in obstetric and gynecologic care.
Away from the office, she enjoys cooking, traveling and photography. She speaks Spanish, Hindi and Marathi.

I arrived 20 min early as requested in your info. Dr was not free to see me for one hour! Because of previous patients who took more than 20 min. This is the first time this happened and I have seen this Dr for many years. She is caring and give us the care we need regardless of time required to do so.
