About Robert N. Blanche
My undergraduate degree is in psychology from Stanford University, and I earned my medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North Carolina. I returned to Stanford to complete an internal medicine residency. Prior to joining Providence ElderPlace PACE, I worked as an internist for 25 years in Southern Oregon. As an internist, I enjoy caring for elderly patients, as they are very appreciative of the care they receive. I was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and grew up in California. I have dual citizenship. I moved to Portland to be near my daughter and son and their expanding families. I’m so excited to be a grandfather. Besides spending time with my family, I enjoy downhill and cross-country skiing, racquetball, and weightlifting. I also like watching the Timbers and the Blazers play, as well as many cultural activities in Portland.
