Alex Fridman, MD

Alex Fridman, MD immigrated to the Unites States from Leningrad, Russia at the age of 12. He grew up in Los Angeles, CA, and graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2005. He is a 3rd generation physician, who is fluent in Russian, and has working command of Spanish. He completed one month of medical rotation in Oaxaca, Mexico. He initially worked as a hospitalist in Los Angeles, CA and Central California, and then switched to primary care. He is an evidence-based physician who believes in respecting patients’ health preferences (including cultural, spiritual and financial) and educating the patients to make their own personal health care decisions. He is a provider for medical aid in dying services under California’s End of Life Option Act (EOLOA). Outside of work, Dr. Fridman translates health-related news into Russian, enjoys spending time with family, home improvement projects and reading.
