About Kelley N. Newton
Dr. Newton earned her medical degree from OHSU and is a resident training in Internal Medicine at Providence Portland Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Newton grew up in Billings, Montana before moving to Portland where she attended Reed College.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in biology, she went on to obtain a master’s degree at Portland State University where her research focused on DNA repair and replication.
During graduate school, Kelley had several volunteer positions including working with patients at Outside In and hospice. These experiences helped to inform her decision to pursue a career in medicine and she completed her medical degree at OHSU. Kelley’s professional interests include addiction medicine, infectious disease and improving care for underserved populations.
