John J. Brandabur, MD

John J. Brandabur most recently received the 2022 Gastroenterology Top Doc designation and has received the Seattle Top Doc award for multiple consecutive years. Dr. Brandabur, is a Gastroenterology specialist in Spokane, Washington. He graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed Internal Residency training at Virginia Mason in Seattle. He completed fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Therapeutic Endoscopy, Advanced Endoscopy, at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Brandabur has 30 years of diverse experience, in gastroenterology specializing in interventional endoscopy in addition to inflammatory bowel disease, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Dr. Brandabur is affiliated with American Board of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and American Board of Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine. He most recently came from Swedish Medical Center in Seattle where he built the Interventional Endoscopy program. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as the Executive Medical Co-Director of Providence Digestive Health. Dr. Brandabur strives to provide the same care for patients that he would wish for himself and his family.
