Erwin Grussie, MD

Dr. Erwin Grussie is a hematologist and oncologist at Roy and Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center. Certified in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine, Dr. Grussie is committed to tailoring state-of-the-art treatments based on your personal needs. He has worked with a diverse patient population his entire career and believes that communication is an important part of comprehensive care. Prior to his career here in the US, Dr. Grussie graduated from the Charité Medical School in Berlin, Germany, with a doctorate in Immunology. He completed an internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai in New York and a hematology and oncology fellowship at LAC/USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Grussie has published on various topics, including basic immunology, liquid biopsies in solid tumors, and leukemia. He is fluent in English, German, Spanish, and Russian. In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. They love spending time outdoors, going to art museums, and discovering Los Angeles.
