Dr. Dennis Buchanan is an EXCELLENT doctor. I have been his patient for 20 years. He treats me like family, and I love that about him. He is respectful, courteous, and always has my best interest in mind.

Dr. Buchanan is the best. He knows what he is doing. I had an IUD inserted and saw on TIktok and online that it was painful. I was told by a friend that it was painful as well. Not so. This is not the first time I have noted Dr. Buchanan's skill. He checked my cervix when I was pregnant and felt no pain. Another time a nurse did it and I thought I was going to pass out from pain. All the doctor's are great at the Laguna location including the Christine Buchanan and the NPs. Dr. Viet delivered my first child, and I thought she was great too.

From the time I called the office to make my initial appointment Upon entering the office meeting, the receptionist staff the doctor the Nurses everyone was exceptional. The doctor was amazing and explained everything in layman's terms. I walked into the office, hiding my tears and left so confident that it wasn't just me, it was life.

This message is anonymous but I hope helpful. It's become evident that I may need a female physician who has also given birth. I don't know that I feel "heard" or that my concerns are investigated further. I rarely see the doctor but when I do, I provide information of ongoing issues and there doesn't seem to be a follow-up like "let's see how you do in 3 months and then get back to me." I'm not sure if this is non customary for the OBGYN practice but I would appreciate feeling like my concerns are legitimate. He also doesn't remember me, every time I see him its as if we are meeting for the first time. He also doesn't review my records before the appointment so when I bring up issues, I have to remind him that this is a concern I've mentioned previously. He sees patients all day, but at minimum I expect that he is going to ask me about previous concerns and whether or not they have subsided.

This was my first obgyn visit at the Providence and Dr. Buchanan was really nice. He listened to my concern and gave me advice too.

My provider is very pleasant and thorough and diligent about addressing my emergent health issues. The staff is very knowledgeable and nice.

My experience has been wonderful.. I have a memory issue based on a brain injury from 4 years ago. The staff and doctor are respectful and helpful with anything I needed.

I have been a patient of Dr Buchanon's for years and am very happy with his team and quality of care. I did find he was somewhat rushed at my recent appt. He was patient overall.

Dr B has been my Dr for 25 years! I will be sad the day he retires! We need more doctors like him!!

I go out of my way and use the ppo option just so I can go out of the provider program option. Dr. BUCANNAN has excellent bed side manner is always respectful and kind even when delivering bad news about miscarriages and doing a d&c surgery. I truly am Blessed to have this man as my OBGYN.
