Robin M. Rathe, MD

Dr. Rathe grew up in Mandeville, Louisiana and attended Loyola University in New Orleans. She completed a double major in Communications and Political Science. Following her undergraduate studies, she earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health at Tulane University. During her postgraduate studies she completed field work in Cusco, Peru with a concentration in women’s health. She continued her passion for global public health by mentoring high school students in alternative wilderness medicine programs in Belize and participating in multiple international surgical missions as a volunteer with Operation Smile. She worked for the National Kidney Foundation in Washington, DC as a program coordinator managing disease screening programs before returning to New Orleans to earn her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. She completed her residency at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in Obstetrics and Gynecology followed by a fellowship in Advanced Pelvic Surgery at Emory University. Dr. Rathe relocated to the Los Angeles in 2020. She served as a Health Sciences Clinical Instructor at University of California, Los Angeles training OB/GYN residents and medical students prior to leaving academics to focus on community healthcare with Providence.
