About Adaobi Okonkwor
Dr. Adaobi Okonkwor joined the Covenant Health Plainview Women’s Services team in 2018.
Okonkwor attended medical school at Howard University’s College of Medicine in Washington, D.C and became a Doctor of Medicine in May 2013.
Okonkwor became a resident physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA and completed her service in June 2017.
After residency, Okonkwor earned a Master’s Degree from the Johns Hopkins’ School of Public Health in Baltimore, MD.
When earning her Bachelor of Science degree, Okonkwor was Summa Cum Laude at Howard University.
Okonkwor is a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Student National Medical Association and the American Medical Association.
Okonkwor is a devote member of the Catholic Church, and expressed she is looking forward to helping build public health in the South Plains.
