Dr Altenau was very caring and attentive to my needs and concerns. She gave very clear explanations and wasn't trying to rush me. I required surgery and there were concerns that I had cancer. She messaged me through my chart while she was on vacation to let me know the pathology showed no cancer. She took the extra time to ease my fears when she didn't have to and that was amazing.
