This provider was amazing. I was really scared for my appointment and she talked me through everything by that was going to happen with my procedure. She answered my myriad of questions with thought out answers. She was kind and patient and didn't make me feel like I was just another patient to mark off of her schedule. Genuinely it was one of the best experiences I've had with an OBGYN

Dr. Alteneau is the most loving, caring and compassionate Physician I have. I WISH we could spend more time together. She's very busy with many responsibilities and in high demand.She helps me a lot when we do spend time together.

This appointment with Dr. Altenau was the first time I really felt truly heard regarding the pain and problems I had been experiencing. She came in with options and tons of info and really put me at ease regarding this whole process. It was a 10/10 experience after some less than stellar experiences with previous providers I've seen during this pregnancy.

The receptionist was excellent and kept saying thank you for our patience due the the line up to to the door waiting to register, and she was the only one working at the time. Not ok for her. Dr Altenau is exceptional. I cannot say enough about her compassion, listening, and knowledge.

I had to have a hysterectomy and Dr. Altenau was very professional and explained in thorough detail what was going to go on during the procedure. All staffing was very professional. I haven't had any issues after the procedure.

Verbal communication - Very thorough. Slowing it down would actually save all of us time, I think. Sometimes it is hard for me to hear and there is important information to process.
