Christine W. Kornu, MD

Dr. Christine Wang Kornu, M.D., FAAP, is Board certified in Pediatrics and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Kornu graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Sciences with Honors Degree and then received her Medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Dr. Kornu has been practicing general pediatrics in southern California since 2006 and, joined Coastal Kids in 2013. In the past, she has served on the clinical faculty at the Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, as well as the lead physician in the Department of Pediatrics at Comprehensive Health Center in San Diego. She has served as a clinical preceptor for medical students, nurse practitioner students, and physician assistant students. Her special interests include newborn and infant care, pediatric development, and preventative care. She is fluent in medical Spanish. She has participated in medical mission trips to Nepal, Thailand, and Laos. She loves to spend time with her husband, two daughters, and one son.
