About Dilek A. Bishku

Dr Bishku joined us in 2013 from Chicago, where she worked at both the University of Chicago Department of Pediatrics and La Rabida Children’s Hospital, a specialty hospital for children with chronic illnesses. She was also Director of the Failure to Thrive Clinic. Dr. Bishku has written several children’s books in her native Turkish language. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, “Pickle”, and continues to write books for children.
