Julia M. Carr, MD

Graduated from Oregon Health & Science University School Of Medicine in 2012 and completed her pediatric residency training at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in 2015. Prior to applying for medical school Dr. Carr was a preschool teacher. She graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Psychology focusing on children’s early cognitive development. Dr. Carr feels privileged to work with children of all ages to keep them healthy. She especially enjoys helping families navigate the parenting of newborns and small children.

Dr. Carr grew up in Portland, Oregon and she is thrilled to be living and working in Oregon. When not in clinic she spends time with her family hiking in the Pacific Northwest, cooking and traveling. She and her husband are joyfully, and sometimes sleeplessly, raising their very exuberant young son.
